For almost a century, Olij rozen int founded as a family company – has been participating in the production of cut-roses and the propagation of plantmaterial. From 1980, the breeding of roses has become an important third activity of the company and meanwhile is Olij under the name of Olij Breeding one of the most innovating rose-breedingcompanies, which is growing very quick. For Olij Breeding vase-life and production/m² are the main selection-criteria.

For the propagation Olij rozen int has chosen to propagate completely in the Netherlands under super controlled conditions. Olij rozen int is allowed to propagate plants from almost al rose-breeders. Olij rozen int can produce for the professional rose-growers worldwide al types of plantmaterial and is capable to produce roseplants in huge quantities.

The production of cut-roses takes place in the Netherlands on 6 ha at a modern company. The produced flowers are sold under the name of Olij Collection. In Kenya Olij is producing on 9 ha under plastic and 12 ha in Ethiopia and in Ecuador we are producing 2,5 ha. The produced flowers are sold under the name Only Roses.
